Two Weeks in Zanzibar

Intro Two Weeks Activities Flights Money Great sites bloques and chicks Limited liability Travel info
I propose you to have a two week's holiday in Zanzibar. The idea is that we can have free accommodation in a very simple lodging (Matemwe). View of the beach in front of our bungalow.
You can stay the two weeks in Matemwe. But it would be stupid to miss the many wonders of the island. This is why I propose you some activities and visits, in Matemwe itself, or all around the island. Up to you to know what you want to see.
Here are all the proposed activities for the two weeks:
24/12/1999: Friday. We fly from Europe to ZNZ. BIG Party in the plane with the crew: it is Christmas. Have a drink with the pilot. Have a nice time with the hostesses...(guys only!, no women admitted) or with the stewards (the girls' best friends since they're all gays).
25/12: Saturday. Arrival in ZNZ, visit of Stone Town . Night in Town.
26/12: Sunday. Prison Island and Spice Tour (no!, no Spice Girls. Sorry guys...).
27/12: Monday. Fruit market, fish market and all kind of markets in town. Transfer to Matemwe . Djuma Issa Djuma will be our driver.
28/12: We rent a Suzuki Samurai -shit car but it is cheap. Visit of the Josani Forest to see the monkeys and leopards. We continue our way to Kizimkazi . Spend the night there.
29/12: see the dolphins. Drive up North to Paje. Night in Paje in a Japanese-owned hotel. Nice dive spot and for snorkelling also. Possibility to rent a bicycle and to ride on the beach.
30/12: visit of a bouddhist temple, and an old temple of the Sultans.
31/12: Back to Stone Town. Do some shopping (food and candles) for the evening. Drive to Matemwe. Make all the food and all the things ready for the evening. Have a shower in the Indian Ocean. Get dressed. (Evening cloth please: taxido for guys and long dress for girls)
Get ready for the hottest night. Get ready to celebrate the BIGGEST party of all times!!! Fireworks a mid-night, good food, plenty of drinks, and of course! une soiree deguisee: theme: Robinson Crusoé !
1/1/2000: Finish the drinks and the food. Meditate on why after each party you have such a terriffic hang-over.
2/1: Snorkelling and diving.
3/1: walk on the coral reef and a trip on a dow, the traditional Arab boats that used to sail across the whole Indian Ocean.
4/1: Cool day. Just do nothing. Enjoy the silence, the sea, and the coconuts. Diving (see the cool diving map), snorkeling and sailing a ' ngalawa '. Climbing in coconut trees (it is much more difficult than you think).
5/1: cycling, diving, fishing, sailing. The fish auction in the after noon on the beach. The best diving spot of the island is just 10 min away by boat: it is a small island called Mnemba.
6/1: Back to Stone Town and its fabulous architecture and art and buildings. Buy souvenirs and spices. . Buy some souvenirs and all the stuuf to show off when you get back.
Last evening meal at Emerson's. The most delightful place of the island. The Sultans' restaurant. You will be eating and listening to lovely music on the top of a house, with a view on the harbour and the dows, on the sun set and on all the town. Dancers will make this evening very memorable.
7/1: Take the plane. Waouw! Keep smiling. We will come back.
